I needed the perfect gift, so I bought chocolates!
It never fails, every year when the holidays come around, I aimlessly wander up and down the store aisles searching for that perfect gift. If anyone ever struggled with what to buy me for a gift, I would say without hesitating, chocolates! Chocolate gifts are a girl’s best friend. Why, I’m easy to please! Give me a basket of chocolate truffles, and I’ll be smiling the rest of the week. I wish everyone was this easy to please.
And then it occurred to me - no matter anyone’s taste, chocolates are the answer! The local candy store sells chocolate in a variety of forms; footballs, animals, musical instruments, you name it. Chocolate gifts come in many shapes, sizes and objects. And there’s always chocolate truffles for the person who’s especially hard to please, I mean, who doesn’t love chocolates?
So I fill my shopping cart with an assortment of heavenly bliss, and head for home to gift wrap my special goodies. There’s chocolate truffles for Aunt Emma, chocolate-covered cashews for Sis, and a box of assorted chocolates for Grandma. Let’s see, there are several chocolate gifts leftover, whatever shall I do? Not to worry! I deserve something sweet every now and then, so I’ll pack some treats away for myself, and then I can say with all honesty - chocolates for everyone!
